Within its 400 range for work tables, Simon asked us to develop a mechanical solution for its new connectivity system for meeting tables, with very specific functional requirements:

• The cover had to be opened from both sides of the table.

• The movement of the element should be smooth.

• The solution should not need any external frame.

• The number of elements should be the minimum and with the minimum visual interference in the design.

Through a process of synthesis, Mequonic was in charge of designing, prototyping and validating an innovative mechanism that has been the subject of a patent by Simon.
