The Finnish multinational Kone commissioned us to design its new universal programming switch for automatic pedestrian doors, meeting a series of very demanding requirements:

• Touchscreen.

• Bluetooth connectivity.

• A sleek, streamlined design with minimal thickness for integration into the environment.

• Easy mounting, both flush-mounted and surface-mounted, using a standard electrical frame.

• Compatibility with operators from other door manufacturers.

In addition to developing product hardware, firmware, and plastic injection enclosure, we also designed the production test tooling for the complete product.
