ADVANCED VISION IN free flow TOLLING

Autopistes de Catalunya commissioned us to develop an artificial vision toll system to support the Via-T and Awai electronic toll systems installed on the C32 highway.

Specifically, the project involved installing a license plate reading system on the free flow pricing control portal located on the road as it passes through the municipality of El Vendrell (Tarragona), integrated with the toll control system of the client.

Mequonic developed an intelligent system based on ANPR technology with integrated OCR, capable of adapting to this demanding high speed multilane environment, developing the software and supplying the processing hardware.
